One of my biggest regrets as a photographer is that I don't live somewhere like California, where there are rolling hills and (actual) mountains, not to mention warm temps year-round and THE OCEAN. But I will say this: Ohio does Fall SO MUCH better. And for that, I'm proud to be an Ohioan.

I love shooting engagement sessions at Cuyahoga Valley National Park because it gives me some of that Pacific Northwest feel -- between the waterfall at Blue Hen Falls and the dense forests surrounding Everett Covered Bridge, it's a bit of an escape from the flat ground we typically see everywhere else. And it gives me the opportunity to channel that moody feeling that's so popular right now in wedding photography.

Brittany & Jordan were such troopers (getting down to the falls is NOT easy) and I'm SO excited to work with them on their wedding day. Congratulations guys!!!<3
